The Royal Wedding

Well after months of planning the big day arrived...the Royal Wedding party that Jane and I were hosting.

William and Kate generously granted the country's workers a day off, and there truly was a four-day long festival feel. Thursday night we convened with Lisa at the Cumberland Arms for some final party planning; I woke Bulli and Jane 7am on the Friday and put everyone to work - we were up possibly as early as the bride herself. We had bunting to hang (I didn't even know what bunting was before this wedding was announced), scones to make, and prosecco to chill.

The day didn't disappoint, lots of fun festivities in front of the tv and made our way down to the Curtains Up for the evening to continue our toasts to the happy couple. And Fraser never did get that t-shirt for us either (you had to be there...)
